Chained to solitude,
 I hide in the corner
  of forever.

Arms wrapped around,
 eyes darting from side
  to side.

Gentle whispers surround,
 asking, wondering, praying..
  why?

Loneliness casts shadows,
 darkness encircles as I weep
  for my yesterdays.

Lifting my head up,
 hopelessly glancing towards
  the crack of the door,

    I weep,
     for tomorrow.
